Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has made his family proud, but his father Vinod Khanna says some contestants crossed the line with their aggression toward him. He said, “There were contestants like Zeishan Quadri and Abhishek Bajaj who were very aggressive… But I knew Gaurav would manage things on his own. Inside that house, no one can help you; you must stand for yourself.”
He admitted he became upset watching Farrhana Bhatt mock his son. “I did get angry when Farrhana called him a superstar in a demeaning way. She questioned his work and career as a TV actor. That upset me a lot,” he said, adding, “If I had been there… I might have even slapped Farhana.”
Reflecting on Gaurav’s game, he said he initially struggled to watch the constant fights but grew proud of how calmly his son handled situations. “Fighting is not in his nature at all, so seeing him stay composed made me proud.” He added, “If he decides he wants to achieve something, he will give it his all.”
On December 7, Gaurav Khanna won Bigg Boss 19, defeating finalists Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik. –IANS
